Deleting your passport

How to do it

Open the Carbora app, go to the Passport tab, tap Account, then Delete my account and confirm. It happens immediately — there is no waiting period and no request for us to approve.

If you would like a copy of your data first, Export my data on the same screen hands you the whole thing as a file.

What is deleted

Everything held about you: your passport and generated display name, every stamp and visit, your points and the reasons they were awarded, your streaks, your raw sticker taps, the record of what you agreed to, and your membership of any league. A league you created is deleted with it. Nothing is kept as a flag on a row we hold back — the rows are gone.

What remains is the anonymous count of visits per shop per day. It has never had a user column, so there is nothing in it that refers to you, and nothing in it that could be traced back to you.

Why it is in the app, not on this page

A Carbora passport has no email address and no password — that is deliberate, and it is why there is no signup. It also means a web page has no way to tell that a passport is yours. The phone holding the passport is the proof, so the delete button lives there.

If you have lost the phone, the passport can no longer be opened by anyone, including us. A passport that goes unused for 12 months is deleted automatically.

If you are stuck
